My training and approach
I am a warm, caring and genuine psychologist and human, and this compassionate and authentic approach is the cornerstone of all therapy I offer.
I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London. I also have a postgraduate diploma in psychology from Birkbeck, University of London, and an undergraduate degree from Cambridge University. I am committed to ongoing professional development and recently completed a postgraduate diploma in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) at Bangor University, graduating with a Distinction. I am accredited by the Society of DBT and the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies).
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
I tailor my approach to each client’s needs and preferences. I am always guided by the evidence base. My main therapeutic models are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and schema therapy. I recently trained in Eye Movement and Desensitisation Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).
Compassion and empowerment are at the heart of all therapy I offer. Finding the right therapist for you can be daunting, and it is important you find someone who feels like a good fit for your needs and can help you progress.
